"An Axe to Grind"

Films: Straight-Jacket (1964)

Alias: None

Type: Natural

Location: Haunted Home/Civilized Area

Height/Weight: That of an average human.

Affiliation: Evil

Summary: There's always talk about the sins of the fathers, but one need not forget that mothers can be equally faulty. We've already seen this on this site of course, though the difference between now and then is that the mother this time is alive enough to regret what happens next.

History: Lucy Harbin was once committed to an asylum for beheading her husband in a fit of jealous anger. Unfortunately, her 3-year old daughter Carol was watching, and got a few ideas of her own. Despite Lucy now pursuing a normal life, Carol continues to murder others in her name in order to pave the way for her own perfect marriage.

Notable Kills: Nothing special.

Final Fate: The Harbin cycle comes full circle, as Carol is eventually exposed and sent to an asylum. Lucy pledges to see her daily.

Powers/Abilities: Her weapon of choice is an axe.

Weakness: Anything conventional.

Scariness Factor: 3-Carol isn't the most unique of killers, but I'd back away if I saw a gal with an axe coming for my head.

Trivia: -Carol's main motive was gaslighting, which is the act of psychologically altering one's outlook on his/her sanity and state of mind.

-This film was the first ever on-screen appearance of actor Lee Majors.
